At Vchoir Ltd we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the visitors to our website and sessions. We want you to know that Vchoir Ltd is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.

 

In our Privacy Policy, we’ve provided detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information and how we use it.

Types of data we collect

Website Cookies

The Vchoir Ltd website (www.vchoir.co.uk) places cookies, which are small data files, on your computer or handheld device. This is standard practice for all websites. Cookies are essential for helping us deliver a high quality experience for our customers, and some collect information about browsing and customer behaviour.

 

By using and browsing the Vchoir website, you consent to cookies being used in accordance with our policy. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies or refrain from using the site.

 

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process we collect personal information in the form of names and email addresses. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; send out session details and let you know a rehearsal has been cancelled or changed in any way. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

 

We use a third-party provider, Wix Ascend, to deliver our emails once you have agreed to join our mailing list. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our services. GoCardless

For founding member payments and monthly memberships we use a third-party provider, GoCardless, to process Direct Debit membership payments. For more information, please see the GoCardless privacy policy.

Wix.COM

Our website has been created using Wix. If you sign up to a taster using the Wix bookings system your email address will be used for any correspondence regarding your taster session. Click here to see the Wix Privacy Policy.

ZOOM

Our sessions take place via the platform Zoom.  If you would like to know more about Zoom and their policies please use this link https://zoom.us/privacy-and-legal.  We cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of session members and by joining Love2sing Ltd you understand that we will endeavour to make our sessions a safe space for all. 

Under 18 session participants

Under 18s are not allowed to attend Friends and Family Fridays sessions without a grown up present.  If we become aware of any one under 18 on screen without an adult we will block them from the session. Under 18 participants at Vchoir Kids must behave appropriately. Although an adult does not have to be on screen your child must be supervised during the sessions.

Photography and Video

By joining Vchoir Ltd, it is agreed that photographic, video recordings and sound recordings may be taken of all members and used for advertising and marketing purposes in relation to Vchoir Ltd. If you do not want your photo, video or Audio included then keep your camera off during any sessions.  Session media will be used for social media and advertising purposes.

 

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold at any time. Please email your request to hello@vchoir.co.uk  Changes to this Privacy Notice                                        are reviewed yearly. We reserve the right to update, modify and/or change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such changes will be posted here.

Health

Members are assumed medically fit to undertake the demands of Vchoir Ltd rehearsals and performances. If a member has any doubts, these should be indicated to Vchoir Ltd prior to their session.

 

Refunds

If a session is cancelled, refunds will not be given, as we will try our best to arrange an alternative date.

 

Code of Conduct

Any form of negative or unacceptable behaviour will result in cancellation of membership and blocking from Zoom sessions.
